Heute morgen kamen meine bestellten Reiseführer zu Japan und China. Als ich im Lonely Planet im Kultur-Kapitel schmökerte, las ich die bisher beste Beschreibung zu Anime-Filmen:

Anime films encompass all genres, from science-fiction and action adventure
to romance and historical drama. Anime targets all age and social groups.
Anime films include deep explorations of philosophical questions and social issues,
humorous entertainment and bizarre fantasies.
The films offer breathtakingly realistic visuals, exquisite attention to detail,
complex and expressive characters and elaborate plots.

In Deutschland herrscht ja immer noch der Irrglaube, dass Anime was für Kinder ist. Nur wenigen ist das bekannt. Einer jedoch ist der Macher von Fernsehkritik TV, der das in Folge 12 kurz anspricht.

Nach einem 3 Tage Marathon Infrastruktur-Umstellung, brauche ich erstmal etwas zum Entspannen. Da kommt Redline gerade recht. Nach Dead Leaves endlich mal wieder so eine richtig kranke Scheiße, die Laune macht :-)

Tron Legacy war schon richtig cool als Fortsetzung zum 1. Teil und Disney setzt jetzt nochmal einen drauf, indem sie die Vorgeschichte zu Tron-Legacy in einer Anime-Serie rausbringen.

Bisher gibt es nur Episode 1, die erstmal den Charakter "Beck" vorstellt ("Beck's Beginning"). Bisher äußerst gut gemachte Storyline, bei der man sich frägt, warum wurde das nicht als Story für Tron Legacy genommen. Fazit: sehenswert.

Die Originalstimme von Jeff Bridges fehlt leider, da dieser bereits für The Tron Lebowski unter Vertrag stand :-)

Achja, ob es Zufall ist, dass das Tron Symbol auf Becks Anzug dem Logo der FSF Europe ähnelt? Wer weiß :-) Beide kämpfen für ihre User...

2014 ist das Jahr des Zelluloidballs. Zum einen, da dieser durch Plastik ersetzt wird und zum anderen kommen derzeit immer mehr Dokumentationen und Filme über den runden Spielspaß heraus.

Ganz aktuell auch die Anime Serie Ping Pong - The Animation von Masaaki Yuasa. Vor allem bekannt durch Mind Game aus dem Jahre 2004. Sehr abgefahren und man erkennt seinen Stil in Ping Pong - The Animation gleich wieder.

Die Serie wird seit April ausgestrahlt und es gibt auch bereits Untertitel dafür.
